Besiege is a physics based building game in which you create war machines and lay waste to peaceful hamlets and lonely outposts. You must build a machine which can fulfil multiple objectives, from razing windmills to wiping out battalions of brave soldiers and transporting valuable Ore Stones. Create a trundling behemoth, or take to the skies, and let loose in fully destructible environments. Ultimately, you must conquer all Kingdoms by crippling their castles and killing their men and livestock.

Hi everyone,

This is just a little introduction to our new game Besiege. Matt and I have been working on Besiege for a little over 9 months now and we are ready to show you guys what it's about! The aim is simple enough: you must build siege machines capable of ruining everything that crosses your path. Ultimately, you must conquer the globe by crippling kingdom after kingdom. Your creations must take out campsites, castles and soldiers. Here is a video of it in action:

The main building component is a wooden block. This is used to create the frame of your machine. From here you can add wheels, armour, canons, flamethrowers, propellers, bombs and a fair bit more. Then when you're ready, press the play button and send your machine careening into hapless foes.

In our next update we will show you some of the tools at your disposal, from circular saws to propellers, and show you how these elements affect the environment/livestock. As it turns out, arming a wooden siege machine with spinning flamethrowers has its drawbacks.

That is a brief introduction, I hope you like it!
