Game
Here I will try to explain the gameplay and menu.
The cannons of the carriers can only reach a certain altitude and when they
do that, there will be a puff of black smoke for a brief second. I've
been thinking about how big the games area would be, I thought: "Battle
of Yavin", only a little bit bigger.
Menu
When you start the game you will see the main menu
(not very advanced, however I have some nice ideas for the update:
animated menu with planes flying in the background)
START= go to a second menu were you can select which
side you fight on.
OPTIONS= sound and control options
INFO= another new menu with a description of each
ship and plane. If possible there will be a (large or medium-sized)
slowly turning model (of the ship in question) in the corner. The model
could also be a little more towards the center with a frame around it.
HIGHSCORE= (speaks for itself)
CREDITS= Mikom "lord_skeybar" Ya = Modeler/Designer,
Aled Owen = Programmer/original idea, Christian "sciophyte" Winsor =
lead-Programmer, Special thanks to Bruno R. Marcos
Control
Controller options:
Joystick, Mouse and
Keyboard.
How the planes move:
Zero: faster (max speed: 533 km/h (287
kn, 331 mph) at 4,550 m (14,930 ft) and more maneuverable than the
Wildcat (zeros will be easier to shoot down, just like in real life)
Wildcat: Not as fast (max speed: 320 mph (290 kn, 515 km/h) as the
zero but still quite maneuverable.
Both planes will be able to roll and dive (when diving at a certain
angle, pulling up will be more difficult)
Controls would be:

A-D = Aileron
Q-E = Rudder left and right
Z-X = Throttle up and down
SPACE = Fire
Mouse
Y axis = Dive - Pull up
X axis = Aileron
