Using the Lord Of The Rings movie license, The Battle for Middle-earth is a Real-Time Strategy game based upon both the renown literary works of J.R.R. Tolkien, and the film trilogy directed by Peter Jackson. Players are given control of enormous armies in the many of the epic battles depicted in the film. From waging all-out combat among the vast forces of good and evil to controlling your favorite heroes and characters to managing the troops and resources of your side, the fate of a living, breathing Middle-earth is in the player's hands.

Hey guys, I want to share with you this map pack of some of the most amazing bfme 1 custom battle maps I collected over time. I did not create them, only 2 of them, but I edited some others like The Angle to fit to vanilla bfme. Most of these maps are from various mods. All maps have at least EA-Quality. Nearly all maps come with a mini map and a loading image. The credits are within the map descriptions. I made and share this map pack because I feel like it would be sad, if this amazing work would have been lost due to the variety of dead mods. I hope you guys enjoy it as much as I did.

Hey Guys, I played the maps with BfME 1.03, 1.05 and 1.06. I also played them with Elven Alliance and Dwarf Holds. It should actually work with any version being at least 1.03 or higher.
Are all the maps supposed to be zoomed in? I have the Widescreen patch which applies to the official maps and campaign but doesnt for your maps

how do i add these awesome maps to the game? i downloaded them and then entered the game and they didn t appeared... help pls..
first thing you should do download this file and extract as folder
after look for %appdata% on your computer find the folder of your own game after entering the folder enter the maps folder then I mentioned the map folder you downloaded earlier put this folder in the maps folder on the computer you opened
