We were mining energy crystals as a strange mechanical device dropped from the sky. We observed it a few minutes. In that time it collected a few refined crystals and disappeared in the sky. I've never seen anything like this before.

Commander Ironhead reporting. Our scans provided us information about Gliese 581d and we actually did find human life on this planet. This people do not have any highend technology, their technological development reached Combustion engines and projectile based weaponry. Still they use the crystals scattered around the whole planet as a source of energy. We'll take a few probes of this element and send them to the main labour on Autumn mothership.
