1 - Loading Mods as a part of the base game

Simply drag and drop your pdo mods to the Addons folder inside "ARMA 3" Folder and run the game.

2 - Loading Standalone Mods

Method 1 : Standalone mods won't affect the game Campaign unless they're enabled, Drag and drop their folder to the Main game Folder, Open the game and select Options>Expansions and Check your mod and accept changes.

The game will restart with your mod loaded, you can unload it in the same way if you want.

Method 2 : Drag and drop your Mod's folder folder to the Main game Folder and Launch it with command line parameter -mod=@Modname (Steam users must set it to launch options in game properties)

Example : -mod=@Driving

3 - Loading Custom Missions

First you need to find out whether your mission is a singleplayer mission or a multiplayer mission, If it's a singleplayer mission copy it to "missions" folder and if it's a multiplayer mission copy it to "MPMissions" folder (found inside game folder)

4 - Unloading Mods

  1. Remove mod files from "Addons" folder
  2. Remove Custom mission files from "Missions" and "MP Missions" folder
  3. Open the game and select Options>Expansions and disable the mods which you don't want to load

5 - FAQ

1 - How do i know if my game is still modded?

An orange message should show up in the top right corner of your screen telling you that you have loaded a mod in your game, Note that it will not show up if you have placed your mod in "Addons" folder, the game considers those files a part of the default (vanilla) game.

2 - I did everything said in "Unloading mods" section but my game is still modded?

Uninstall then Reinstall the game, looks like you don't remember exactly all the files that were added to your game, to do this you're going to completely remove the game folder so that you don't leave any mod files behind then reinstall the game.
