Then you're going to love what Alien Arena has in store for you! This game combines some of the very best aspects of classic deathmatch, and wraps them up with a retro alien theme, while adding tons of original ideas to make the game quite unique. Alien Arena is a furious frag fest with arenas ranging from the small, to the massive. With game modes such as Capture The Flag and Tactical, there are terrific team-based experiences to be had as well as 1v1 duels, free-for-all, and dozens of mutators to alter the game play to your liking. The community is friendly, as well as prolific. Dozens of maps, models, and various accessories have been created by community members to add on to the game experience.
Alien Arena has a brand new weapon. It will change how Deathmatch is played! Every two minutes, when a weapon is picked up, a Mind Eraser will spawn in it's place, and a klaxxon will sound off to notify the players. The mad rush to retrieve the "superweapon" begins!
The primary firing mode launches a "seeker" projectile. It moves slowly along, until it locks onto a player. Then it rapidly tracks them and electrocutes them and continues on, or crashes into them and blows up. You receive frags for each player your seeker destroys, and those players that die have their reward point totals erased.
The secondary firing mode launches a little metal robotic spider, which tracks and attacks your enemies, racking up frags for you until it is destroyed. Those players also lose their reward points when killed by a spider.
Picking up a Mind Eraser gives you just one shot, until you pick up another(you can only accumulate one of these weapons).
