Possibly the greatest games of the early 2000's and late 1990's. Maybe even of all time. This game is more then just a strategy game, it is a work of art. From the crescendo of various maps and locations available for you to shape all the way to the immerse music that will send chills down your spy, this game is a symphony and an achievement to games.

Story/Campaign:
The story is original, but not perfect. Some of it is cliched, orcs, goblins, halflings, elves and *** hole humans yet it is unique in its own way. The story is not your black and white cookie cutter piece of work, it goes in an entire new direction. Possibly one of the greatest things about it and one of the greatest things about the game is there is more then one ending. In the beginning you have your standard 'good guys and evil guys' but through the game you can change sides, do things your own way in classic situations of the greater good or the dieing village at your mercy.
This has created multiple endings (eight if I remember) which adds a massive amount of replayability.

Graphics:
By modern standards the graphics may seem outdated, but they were great at the time and are still charming. They do the job well and make the world a vibrant and lively place. Or even a dark and depressing one. The color palette in this is quite large which makes it very eye pleasing indeed.

Sound/Music:
The music in the game is simply marvelous, the tracks will send chills down your spine and cause your hairs to stand on end. It is gripping, powerful, and emotional. You can picture things in your head when you hear this sound track.

Gameplay:
The gameplay is truly where it shines. The game is simple yet elegant with a soft learning curve. It is easy to learn yet hard to master and within seconds of picking it up I knew how to play. With its wide range of units and races it creates challenging yet interesting gameplay where no two games are the same.

Extra Notes:
The game also has a map edit

(Ran out of letters.
