After Reset™ RPG - a hard sci-fi role-playing open world game with old school top view, which action takes place in the future on Earth dying slowly after nuclear cataclysm that buried nearly all life on the planet.
While our programmer toils on apparel and inventory I'm in design, modeling and writing lore for various items you'll be randomly able to find at Gyes in containers. Here are several in-game books (items modeled with description prepared) I mentioned during our Kickstarter campaign as "the books of my lore inspiration".
Book "Jack of Shadows"
This book is made from some kind of plastic or composite polymer fabric. Despite it is, definitely, not a paper, you really like the feel of it. The title of the book declares "Jack of Shadows, by Roger Zelazny". Printed markings on the cover indicate "teNeues Ltd." as the publishing company. As well as the year of printing - 128AR; and the place of manufacturing - Eos, Underearth.
The book synopsis says:
"The Earth no longer rotates. Science rules the dayside of the globe. Magic rules the World of Night, and Jack of Shadows, Shadowjack the Thief, who broke the Compact and duped the Lord of High Dudgeon, walks in silence and in shadows to seek vengeance upon his enemies."
