Changelog
- 0.4.0 - 04 August 2019
- You can now label your skin slots as being taken up by a mod!
- You can even name the slot, but this will only show when you select the slot. In the slot list, to avoid long names extending the list, it'll simply show "<MOD>" if a mod is labeled for that slot.
- If you deactivate a mod, it'll remove it from any skin slot(s) it was assigned to.
- This is NOT the final version of this feature -- I would like to flip it so that you can assign the slots to the mods, not the mods to the slots. This will take a lot more time, so for now, I hope you'll enjoy this version of sorting your slots!
- Added the ability to check for program updates, using the Nexus Mods API
- Added links to Nexus Mods and ModDB, both for this program and for all mods in general
- Duplicate mod warning dialog now has the "Dark Blue" upgraded look as the rest of the program
- Some error/warning messages still show in the default Windows look
- Fixed a bug where file extensions in capital letters were not handled properly (.PAK instead of .pak)
- 0.3.0 - 13 July 2019
- "Dark Blue" upgraded look
- Mod management and settings are in separate tabs
- Users can now see how many mods are enabled and how many are disabled
- Users can now import mods as enabled or disabled from the get-go
- Users no longer have to keep setting their mod folder when new Mod Manager versions are released
- Added handling for mods with the same name but different file extensions (enabled and disabled at the same time)
- Fixed a bug where disabled mods were not detected when the mod folder was on a hard drive other than the main one
- 0.2.0 - 08 July 2019
- Activating and deactivating mods is now possible
- New message alerting users that the game must be restarted for changes to take effect
- New icon
- 0.1.1 - 07 July 2019
- Potential fix for not detecting a valid mods directory in certain circumstances
- 0.1.0 - 06 July 2019
Welcome to the AC7 Mod Manager! This program allows you to easily import mods, deactivate/reactivate mods, and even assign your skin slots to mods so you know which skin slots are currently used -- all without launching the game!
On first startup, the program will auto-detect your mod folder if you have the game installed on your C drive and already used the "~mods" folder structure! If it does not auto-detect, you will have to select the folder where you are storing your mods to use the program.
THIS PROGRAM ONLY SUPPORTS THE OFFICIAL STEAM VERSION OF THE GAME.
SUPPORT THE DEVELOPERS AND PURCHASE THE GAME. ILLEGAL COPIES ARE NOT SUPPORTED.
I love this
Hey this suggestion is quite large but something you might be able to do in the future, so you would have a plugin for actually viewing the aircraft with the skin. Although its probably very hard it could be awesome! Also quick little thingy i have a problem with, when I deactivate a mod, it doesnt show up in my left list, it only disappears in my right making me have to change the file back to pak from pakx in file explorer
Definitely not doing the skin preview, that's way too resource intensive.
I'm not sure why it's not properly deactivating for you... any errors or anything?
no not at all, it really changes the file to pakx but it doesnt let it show in the left list
I think I'm narrowing down the issue, someone on Nexus reported the same issue and said his game is not on the C drive. Is that the same case for you?
This issue is fixed in version 0.3.0!
