Abomination Tower is a unique platformer using procedurally generated levels to provide players with varied experiences on each play through. Climb up the tower and encounter other weird and wonderful creations that reside in the tower. Players unlock equipable heads along the way, master their abilities to aid in your escape. The only way out is up!
Well, just when I thought it was time to start looking at other projects Abomination Tower got Greenlit.
I was surprised it happened so much that I had to check the email a couple of times to make sure I was reading it right. Thank you to everyone who voted for the game, I owe it to all of you that I get to release my game on Steam. I've set up a new website to help advertise the game before release which features a link to the steam store page. (Abomination-tower.adriansugden.com)
So, for the steam release I've added leaderboards, cards and achievements to the game as well as a Linux build. A few people were asking earlier about a linux build for the game, well now it is done and will be coming with the steam release. I should have it also available on other distribution platforms soon.
Steam release is happening February 13th 15:00 PST. That's it! mark it in your calendar. I'm so excited to get to release on steam and it has allowed me to add a few more features to the game, most importantly Steam leaderboards. Now players can see their time compared with everyone else that is playing the game on steam. In my eyes this is fantastic. Something I didn't imagine I could do is now in the game thanks to steam. This will add a lot of value for players and will be great for the community around the game. I look forward to seeing some really fast times and hopefully some speed runs online.
I've made some standard achievements for completing levels and unlocking heads etc, there are also some secret achievements to unlock as well, 30 in total. Good luck! There are card drops in the game now too which is pretty exciting, being able to add these items to the community.
Once again, I'm so excited to finally be able to release on Steam and thank you to everyone that helped.

Hello.
Looks sweet, tracking and voted up on Greenlight!
Release date? and are you planning on making it not so repetitive
in the full game? Any tutorial's and explanation's would be great. And how can I or we players help you dev's? And is it possible to have Options and map creator? Just my ideas on improving the game.
Hi, I don't have a solid release date yet but I am trying my best to get this out as soon as I can. There are a few things I am going to try in the full game to make it not so repetitive so I hope that works out.
I'm planning on posting some information about how I have been creating the game on my website but haven't found the time just yet. I've added a controls screen to show players how to play and that will be in the final game. The first level will also be a lot easier than the one in the demo so hopefully the learning curve will allow players to get used to the game and get better as the game gets harder.
I don't plan on adding a level creator to the game, that is a bunch more work that I would have to squeeze in and I want to try and get this done quickly, but if the reception and demand from the community is enough I may reconsider this stance.
Thanks for the feedback :)
full game?
Hi, The game is still being worked on and is due for release in a couple of months. If you'd like to help out you can vote for the game on Steam Greenlight and hopefully it will be released on steam.

Man, this game is difficult. But fun! :D I have a question: Are there more than one unlockable heads in the demo? Because I got the butt one. Then I completed the map/level again with the head (I lost it half way) and collected 5 eyes, but I didn't get a new one. So if there are more heads how can I unlock them? Can't I use the head or can't lose it? :)
Hi, sorry it took me a while to get back to you. didn't see the comment. Sadly there is only one in the demo, you need to collect 10 to unlock the next head so it isn't available in the demo. Thanks for playing :D
