0 A.D. is a free, open-source, cross-platform real-time strategy (RTS) game of ancient warfare. It's a historically-based war/economy game that allows players to relive or rewrite the history of twelve ancient civilizations, from Iberia to Mauryan India, each depicted at their peak of economic growth and military prowess. Developed using Pyrogenesis, a ground-breaking new game engine custom-built to suit this project, 0 A.D. will give players a rich and entertaining real-time gaming experience.
Another new map bundled with the upcoming Alpha V. This time the new IBERIANS faction squares off against the Greeks on their own territory.
Is there a high res version? :-) Trees on both sides of the pathway, interesting.

Hmmm... I see ample of strategies I can use on this map.
Very nice, will you be showcasing new maps in the same way as this one?
Yes, as I complete them. :) Pureon is also making some maps of his own.
Please, don't make specific maps. Focus on the automatic map creation. And make them big please. AoE 2 was great thanks to its enormous maps (at least try to make it as big as possible).
a map editor would also be cool
As I am not a scripter, I can't focus on random map scripting. ;) The next release will come with updated random map scripts though. I create these standalone maps because the RMSs are still rudimentary.
The people who can make scenarios/custom made maps and those who can make random map scripts aren't always the same ;) So don't worry, there will be both. And as Michael (Mythos_Ruler) said, from Alpha 5 on there is Random Map scripting added, and a few random maps as well.
As for enormous maps, if you think the maximum included is not big enough just edit the scripts, be prepared to wait a while though as it takes a while for the map to be created when that large :)
There is a map editor (called 'Atlas').
This was a fun map to play. It just took a forever to find and slaughter those remaining Greek women at the end.
The game design calls for capturing ability, so in the future you'll be able to capture them at the end to win!
