What is happening to this site? Thread

Recently I got warnings in both Firefox and Chrome when downloading addons for Stalker: Anomaly.I had to basically force the browsers to download the files. Then I scanned them with Windows Defender and that at least said they were clean. I have never gotten such warnings from a legitimate website before, not once in years of using those browsers! Another person on a Discord I´m on reported the same thing happening.

Now this happens with FF when I try to download something, Chrome just shows a blank page:

What on earth is happening to this site right now.

I am getting a blank page every time i try to download anything from Moddb.

Which files were you getting the warnings from... really annoying that the browsers sometimes flag our site

It's working now. I was able to finally download Logistique at good speeds.

I'm surprized speeds are good at the moment, load is way up with everyone at home gaming!

I got the same issue as well but using a different download mirror fixes it. Try the other mirrors as it seems the default one is a little finicky.

If you are in any technical profession, I am sure someone at some point has asked you this question. Whether you are an engineer, developer, marketer, or even in sales, it is always good to have a basic understanding of what is going on behind our browsers and how information is transferred to our computers via the internet.
