Hello there! I have been working on a game called Hoverloop for little over half a year now and I just added it to IndieDB! Hoverloop is a Splitscreen Arcade Arena Combat game. In Hoverloop you will have access to an array of customizable drones, each with its own unique ability like Teleport, Deathray or Shield. You will have to fight against or work together with friends in splitscreen/online multiplayer, or you can play together with AI-Bots, in a variety of game modes such as Deathmatch, Team Deathmatch, Endless AI-Waves, Battle Royale, Zombie Tag, Capture the Flag. (And many more to come!) The core idea of the game is to bring gamers back together in their couch, sharing a snack and shouting battle cries at eachother! We have up to 4-player splitscreen working at the moment. If you'd rather play by yourself, we have also implemented some AI-bots to play with. So each game mode can be played with a various mix of AI and human players. We are also found on Steam Greenlight!Votes, comments, feedback, shares, all welcome! IndieDB Link

I'm currently working on... The Fallen World takes place in a city where pain is god and life itself is only a means to suffering. Ancient deities and creatures from beyond reason reign supreme but humanity has it’s own monsters to bear. The player can even be one of them.
From the start the player is presented with a small piece of a much larger and more intricate puzzle of goals and allegiances than they have information to solve. Piecing together these motivations and actions is how the player survives. Figuring out a way orchestrate them to the player's benefit is how the game is won. As in life, direct physical confrontation of all opposition is somewhere between Sisyphean and suicidal. Successfully navigating The Fallen World requires careful observation as well as quick reflexes.
The Fallen World is a stealth focused survival horror rpg. Where many games set in large woodland areas present this concept in terms of crafting, survival in The Fallen World’s stark city streets requires scavenging. The core gameplay loop revolves around the player “acquiring” enough food and water to survive and barter for a safe place to sleep (the only way to save the game). As in game tensions mount this prospect grows in difficulty, or disappears entirely dependent on player choice.
Player led narrative is at the heart of the game’s design. To that end the UI and mechanics are tailored to match the player character. PCs unskilled in armed combat don’t receive aim assist, targeting reticles, or on screen ammo counts. Most of the inhabitants of the game’s world are not soldiers or even gun enthusiasts. They’re just people whose reality has come undone and as such are not trained in counting shells and controlled bursts. I've been working on this for months now and there are still many more months to go but feedback is welcome. Edited by: DarkSpaceGames |

I released a game last year around this time actually and now have released my next game 'Blast Masters' its a retro arcade like game set in space where you - an enterprising young fellow named Monty sets out to make money with his AI friend 'Terrence' I've burrowed away at this project for some time and am hoping for some kind of feedback as I am wondering what I have learnt from this process (apart from learning is fun, takes time, and takes over your life) in face that now with this being finished I am onto another project which is in the prototyping stage but is no nearly finished yet but is alot of fun. I'm rambling now. But I hope you guys will give the game a chance! |

5/24/17 UPDATE:Got alot done in this project including graphics, player involvement, got rid of auto save and implemented user selected save and load, populations generated are now shown and go about their business and are created with their own individual genes, you can refill their hit points by going up to them and pressing 'A', ability to change environments, the organism now talks to you, you can name it, also added a nice game menu and start screen menu Check the Chromosome Z home page for updated pics, downloads and content! Demo now out on Android as well as Windows8+ Hi, I'm working on a game called Chromosome Z, it's a sim of evolution. I'm using a genome approach to define and evolve organisms to survive under varying conditions, I have a demo HERE for windows 8+, it's a long way off from completion but I just got the chromosome code working fairly well and the game currently is solely run by the player, but the end result will be that the player makes an organism and it evolves by it'self with the player still being able to control it's movement and interaction with other organisms in the population. arrow keys - move around mouse - drag text box, drag organism space - create chromosome and a population and evolve it (it can take anywhere from a second to several minuites, in which time you can't move the organism, be patient and let it evolve) shift - clear text box data Escape - save and exit game, saved game is automatically loaded when you play again, click the close window box on top right to exit WITHOUT saving the game. try the demo HERE for win8+ Visit the Chromosome Z home page Edited by: RoadhammerGaming |
