Currently I'm implementing finite state machines (fsm) as design pattern to separate the different states of objects and have a more maintainable code. Also makes it more readable and less messy |

Not much to show off, but wanted to share this project i just started with other VR folks that may have a Vive. Here's a link to MageWorks If there's enough interest, i'll keep up on this project. Playable prototype available in the link provided. Have spent most of the time programming, but eventually would like to get custom art in here. Assets from the marketplace as placeholder art in the meantime.

Hello everyone! This is my first post on IndieDB so I thought I'd share what I'm dedicating myself full time to in 2016. Grave Danger!
Grave Danger’s gameplay is about utilizing each character’s unique abilities to solve puzzles. The player will switch between these characters and master their movements and attacks, guiding our heroes further into the story.
The inspirations for Grave Danger are rooted in classic Super Nintendo greats: The Lost Vikings, Mega Man, and Castlevania. Campiness, problem solving, and teamwork stem from The Lost Vikings, while the fast paced combat and movement abilities of the Mega Man series keep it action-packed. The darker and spookier themes can be attributed to our love for the Castlevania series.
We'll be running a Kickstarter and Steam Greenlight in July and releasing on Halloween! Visit our IndieDB page to learn more about Grave Danger |

Hi all. We've been in development since the start of January this year after receiving the first round of the UK Games Fund. We're still quite early days, but we'd love to hear any of your feedback and questions. So without further ado, here's....
A shining city lies besieged in the heart of a vast desert. As the moon rises over the royal palace, a notorious thief watches the king die at a traitor’s hand. Discovered, falsely accused, and thrown into the labyrinthine dungeons, the thief must escape to tell the tale, else the city will fall.
Master dynamic acrobatic abilities to traverse the cavernous depths of an ancient underground prison, evading detection and avoiding certain death at the hands of a sand-borne evil. Fight for your city – foil the enemy's attempt to strike at the heart of the kingdom.
The Siege and the Sandfox is what we like to call a ‘Stealthvania'. By infusing stealth into the typical Metroidvania experience we're creating a unique twist on the ever-popular genre. Lovingly realised in an evocative 2D art style, with great attention to audio and presentation, we are building a beautiful world for our players to enjoy… from the shadows. The Siege and the Sandfox is being built in Unreal Engine 4 (using Paper2D), targeting PC and console platforms. Release date TBD. We have a core team of 6, with a number of part-time/outsource contributors too. Jump on over to our IndieDB forum if you'd like to learn more. Edited by: OllyOllyBennett |

Hi everyone! We're working on a game called Spellstrike. It's a strategy game inspired from board games and traditional RPG's where you control a squad of three and go into high action battles. It has somewhat of a CCG/ deck building feature where you get to customize characters, squads, and skills. We are still in development and are hoping to get as much feedback as possible so feel free to drop us a message if you have any questions or comments. You may also drop by our IndieDb page for more updates and more info on the game.
We started around October last year and we finally have somewhat of a gameplay video. Control where your squad's strategy by selecting positions in the war table. Here's a WIP screenshot of the war table.
View the battles by zooming into specific zones in the map.
Customize character builds and skills in battle.

Currently I'm finishing up Territory Earth, A video game for Android devices and Windows computers. This game started out as a project for last month's GMC Game Jam, and was originally created in under 72 hours, there weren't any major bugs in it, but it was heavily rushed and some things, like the mirror room, didn't look or work very good at all, and the story line was confined to the title screen and game end screen. The game is a post apocalyptic story of a Canadian tree eating caterpillar That has escaped the effects of a fungal spore infection that wiped out humanity and many species of animals. The year is 2020, all of humanity has succumed to an incurable disease spread by fungi. Only a few animals and insects managed to form resistance, and now they have turned on each other senslessly from a violent side effect of being resistant to the new disease. You, a tree chomping catipillar seem to be immune to both the disease and it's psychotic side effects, and are forced to live in a violent world where every living thing wants to kill you! You must survive and find out why you are the only one left with your sanity, and find the cure to save what little life is left on Earth. Armed only with your chompers and your poisonous silk spinning defense mechanism you must make a perilous journey through the micro forest world and confront the source of putrid psychotic senselessness! Fight enemies and find your destiny on Territory Earth!! Along the way our Hero meets his only ally, a talking Jimson weed plant that decides to help him with healing and information. There are 3 main bosses in the game, and it rains the blood of the fallen almost constantly. You can download the original game .exe for windows HERE. Note that for the game to be tested by the voters I left a cheat code enabling all monsters to be instantly defeated by pressing SPACE. (You can still be killed by mushroom spores tho so don't stand under them) The upcoming game will be quite a bit different and not include any cheat codes.

Hello everyone! We, the SPirateS crew, are working on SPirateS, a sandbox game that's all about roaming seas and space, defeating other pirates and conquering towns in a hack'n'slash action experience with RPG elements. You customize your equipment, your ship and your crew to raid ships and conquer towns while exploring planetary and space oddities. Along the way, you will come across bipedal cats, glitching robots, hungry zombies and much more. SPirateS is still in an Alpha development phase, but we decided that it's playable enough for people to check it out and tell us what they think/give us their suggestions etc. You can download the game from here or there.

Hi! I am developing game for Android called MineColony. It’s a sandbox game similar to Minecraft and Terraria but with economy twist (this part is still in development though). In the beginning you collect resources to build your shelter against monsters which appear at night. You can mine ore, coal, smelt iron and craft tools. It features 8-bit, retro style graphics and soothing background music. While developing this game I was emphasizing on creating great atmosphere, so the player could immerse into game world. There are a lot of background sound effects like cricket chirping on dusk, owl hooting in the night or birds twitting in the morning.
Thank you for reading, hope you like it. Edited by: lacozzini |
