Hey guys, Im a masters student working on a thesis to develop a list of guidelines for RPG game developers. Its purpose is to help game developers create better games by having a strong foundation. Check out this post if you're interested. |

I believe you may be in the wrong thread... Anyway, to get back on topic, I'm playing through Crysis 2 and Far Cry 2, now that I finished the first two Crysis games and most of Far Cry(I sort of lost interest in that game...) Crysis 1 was...Ok I guess. Crysis Warhead was much better, because they could focus on just the campaign, rather than an engine as well as a game. Crysis 2 so far...I haven't exactly been impressed with. But I'm still fairly early on, so it may get better. |

Warhammer40k Space Marines every now and then, Going to be giving Fallout: New Vegas a shot (hopefully I'll find it more interesting than Fallout 3 after I had exited the vault). |

Rampage for the Wii. The game actually sucks, but if you bare through it you can unlock the ORIGINAL Rampage for the arcade, & the one for N64. Lovin' it! |

Personally I think NV is a lot better than FO3. The latter didn't hold my attention for long. I'm slowly getting through Kingdom Hearts: Birth by Sleep and Skyrim. I've also been playing some custom stories for Amnesia: The Dark Descent. |

I'm on the second level of Alan Wake: American Nightmare now, after finishing the first Alan Wake game. I really liked the first AW, but I'm not particularly engrossed in American Nightmare so far...Gameplay-wise it's just been a couple fetch quests, then the obligatory "Turn on the generator, then fix this bit of machinery", with a little bit of combat here and there. Story-wise, it's a non-canon spinoff to the first game, and the plot is intentionally cheesy, so, there's that too. Hopefully it gets better soon... I also started Black Mesa. I'm only at Office Complex, but I'm pretty impressed with it so far. |

You must really be a masochist to play a Bethesda RPG on the PS3. |

Yeah i bought both of them before i realised the problems they had on PS3. I have to say Skyrim on PS3 is probably one of the buggiest games i've ever played. It's mainly the performance of Skyrim that starts to annoy me after a while. for a PS3 game to have it's FPS drop to about 10 - 15 FPS for a few seconds is just ridicules. I'd advise you'd be better off with Kingdoms of Amalur, that game actually performs better on consoles than it seems to on PCs. |

Probably partly depends on the PC you have. -- PChelpforum.com. I'm a mod there, apemax17. |

No, it's the matter of control scheme. Unless you're willing to go to the expense of getting a controller, Amalur is a great deal more counter intuitive on PC. |

Katawa Shoujo. First game I've ever had any desire to 100%; beautiful music too. Bah. Didn't see this was in console gaming (I jumped in from the home page). My reply stands, damn it! Edited by: JigsawPieces |

Sorry i thought you meant performance wise. I agree some games work better with a controller rather than a mouse and keyboard. Also depends on personal preference. -- PChelpforum.com. I'm a mod there, apemax17. |

It's fine. The main issues were: they managed to make inventory navigation tedious, and switching between weapons and spells was equally more confounding than when I tried the demo on my PS3. On the PS3, generally everything is relegated to the four face buttons on the right, and every other action is assigned elsewhere. Inventory can be breezed through. |
