What games are you playing through right now? Thread

Battlefield Bad Company 2: Multiplayer. SOOOO GOOD! Requires teamwork unlike Call of Duty and has great classes, maps, graphics and best of all, gameplay.

In my experience, almost any game benefits from strategy (I've seen it work on bloody Battlefront 2 for crying out loud).

If you've played both COD and BC2 you'll easily see that there is a huge difference in the way those games play online. I personally prefer BC2 because it is a bit slower more "intelligent" game, BC2: Vietnam IMO is great addon somewhere halfway between COD and BC2. Truth be told, COD reminded me more of Quake 3 (cluster-fuck) than any other Modern Warfare-themed game.
P.S. Have you watched E3 videos of successors of aforementioned games? Check them out, they're both in-game.

I won't comment it, but take a look, B3 live demo is jaw dropping, MW3 not so much.

I'm still looking into getting BF2142, presently. And I realize most games don't force strategy (I see that as a problem).

Well, I just finished L4D1. The ending was - interesting. I might get some multiplayer time in sooner or later, but first I'm going to play through L4D2.

Yeah, if there's a single player option, I always tend to play through that first to get a feel for the game. After that, I usually start playing multiplayer.

I also got to try the game in singleplayer. It's five times as shallow without someone there to play it with you.

However, if you unlock cheats and use console commands, and have an Xbox 360 controller that you can use on the PC, then you can unlock split-screen (you can only do it offline, however, as Valve never fully implimented it).

I've started to play TES4 Oblivion again, after hearing about TES5 Skyrim. Oblivion has to be my favorite game when it comes to running around, exploring, or just killing things.

I suggest this now, even though I still couldn't expunge the images from my mind -- skip every bit of cutscene or dialogue in Bayonetta.

They shouldn't have even been included.

You are playing the greatest FPS to date. It has AI that could beat Halo, Half-Life 2, and Jedi Knight AI, 1 v 3, without losing more than three soldiers.

Not to mention it's got a well sparsed narrative and the only downside to it is the surprising lack of enemy types (although the always changing tactical scenarios make it almost impossible to notice the similarity in appearance and function of enemies).
