Very Slow Download Thread

I had a pm from someone who is trying to use my mod telling me that one of the files is corrupt. I don't think it is corrupt as over 1,200 people have downloaded my mod and I have had a lot of positive feedback. Plus my mod testers have had no problem with downloading and using it from moddb.

However, I decided to download my mod for myself just to double check, but unfortunately I am getting ridiculously slow download speeds. So far I have tried 3 times and the average dl speed is around 60 kb/s. All three times the download has failed after several hours.

Downloading from Steam and other sites I get around 700/800 kb/s. My mod is only 1,18 gb, but I can see these painfully slow speeds putting off people who want to download my work, and it certainly is a hassle for me right now.

Why is my mod download on moddb so slow?
