ABOUT SUS:System Under Surveillance (SUS) is an upcoming stealth game with adventure and puzzle elements similar to known classics from the 80s and 90s. The game's visuals are also inspired by classic top-down retro games, but in an isometric perspective. In SUS, you will also explore the story trough an interactive pixel art comic book. STORY:After a suspicious car chase involving his adoptive mother, Adam finds himself alone in the middle of a dystopian city. He soon discovers that a mysterious governmental organization is after him, without knowing why.
While struggling to escape and survive, Adam finds a quirky cleaning robot labeled TURBO. Despite the name, TURBO is pretty clumsy and slow. Yet, with its big digital heart, the clumsy robot will accompany Adam in his journey, helping him discover the dark truth surrounding the accident. GAMEPLAY:In SUS you play as Adam and Turbo. You have no power over the enemies, making you completely vulnerable in this environment. Without a combat system, your only chance of surviving is through the stealth mechanics. Be aware of your surroundings, and use the game world and unique abilities of the two characters to evade; trick the enemies, sneak past them, and hide from them. You will go through each level with the goal of finding the truth behind the secret organization chasing you. SWITCH ANYTIME BETWEEN TWO UNIQUE CHARACTERS:TURBO, an old and quirky robot, who can:
Adam, an ordinary yet highly intelligent and resourceful boy, who can:
NO ORDINARY HEALTH SYSTEM:System Under Surveillance replaces the ordinary health system with a threat level. This system will immerse you in the story, making you feel just like an ordinary boy who can succeed only outsmarting the enemies. Stay undetected to keep the threat level low, or get detected to make enemies follow you, and trick them to reach restricted areas. The threat level will decrease if you hide and escape. But don't get caught!
