An alienware lappy. Short power, but best speed.
But if you want more power, get a Dell.

alienware make laptops now? That business really has taken over, they must do damn well. Personally i'd never buy a PC from them, building it yourself is 99% of the fun

what about compaq is that a good computer gaming laptop?

No, loaded with slow, glitchy and crashy s3 virge cards (10fps on Quake1 with a 2.5GHz p4!)

well what would be a good Laptop to play like Half Life Counter-Strike online or good Single player games like Unreal 2 that are great games what would be a good Laptop to play those on?

oh are those alot of money I think so like 5,000,000 for a Laptop thats alot and for the Desktop like 7,000,000 too much but Hey if it worth it its worth it.

I have to ask, why would you buy a laptop, when they're much more expensive and aren't even designed for gaming, when you can buy a good desktop that is designed for gaming??

actaully thats only if you get the chemleon paint job for it, the light source changes its color, and thats like an extra $300.

as for alienwares, there very nice... but from the ones i have seen they are very loud running

well you can get headphones for the Laptop so you can adjust the volume on them.

No, he meant the fan.

Dell's laptop fans are quiet.

ive never encountered any of the pcg staff online, but i have subscibed to the mag for quite sometime (i even had a pcxl sub for awhile, till the died out... )

I notified Chuck Osborne about Tenebrae (back when it was hot) in August, he never answered (and no "Tenebrae" was ever printed)

hmmm, they did do a big thing on natural selection though... and they talked a lil about it in this last issue...
