Hello. I am a member of Flaming Ice, we are developing an indie game called Solitude. We haven't released our multiplayer beta yet. I have been intrigued by the idea of releasing it through Desura if possible. The question that came to my mind is, what is the process for releasing an indie game through Desura? The next question was, are we allowed to release our Indie game? I ask this because to play our indie game you require a PlayStation Portable (Hand held game console, PSP for short) with custom firmware. Does this automatically disqualify us from releasing through Desura? Thank you. Edited by: TeamXlink |

Well if you have a PC version which I'm sure you do it is possible, but since you do not own the IP you are using in your game you wont be allowed to release on the platform. --

1) You can't legally sell your project because you don't own the intellectual property of Halo. |

We are not wishing to sell our game. We are also 100% legal. |

Sorry but unless you have hard evidence that you have premission from both Microsoft and Bungie (or is it just Microsoft cant remember) for use of the IP we cant allow you to release on Desura, even if it is just the PC version of the game. --

I think it's just Microsoft since this is the publisher and Bungie the developer. Usually developers don't hold the license on their work. |

If you're not selling the game, why would you have any interest in Desura? |
