Programmer looking to join team Thread

Hi there,I am a 21 year old male currently looking to join a team in developing games, for the past three years I have self taught myself to program, the main languages being c# / XNA and java. I would love to get involved in the development of a game, as of yet I have not successfully finished one, main reasons being that my art skills are pretty poor, and finding it hard to develop/expand on ideas, so my main offer is my programming skills.
I would not say that I am a professional, but I am pretty confident, especially with 2D, I have learnt a little about 3D but would prefer to start out with 2D.At the end of this month I will be starting a university course in computer science with game development at the university of hull, so at times a lot of my focus will be on that, but I am willing to dedicate most of my free time in the development of a game/s.the types of games that interest me most are RPG based games as-well as RTS and side-scrolling action paced games, I am not bothered if anyone only wants to make a game for retail or just as a hobby, my main interest is getting some hands on experience working as a team and finishing a project, so if anyone is interested in what I have to offer feel free to contact me at any of the following or post here
