Hey all! I'm a flipping newb ready for a good hazing! Excited to be a part of this community!

Hello all, my name is Gary...AKA Gordo999 im 48 years old. I just Installed Empire total war and will be adding Napoleon Total War soon as well. Hope to get some cool mods and learn how all this stuff works. I not real computer savvy so i hope im not a nuisance. :=D

My name is tom & I am on old git (45) who is a long time gamer & also love mountain biking. big doom fan & would love to be able to play the new doom mod that is coming up. brutal doom 64. hope there is a tutorial somewhere. I currently play doom on my laptop via doomsday.

I'm 19 and I've never tried modding before, but since I got a computer and steam, I thought I would try to figure it out but I haven't the faintest place to start. I'm not super tech savvy :/

Any help on where to start is appreciated!

I joined a few days ago and have asked for help with a mod id like to install. Im not Computer savvy either. I have not heard so much as a peep from anybody here...starting to wonder if im the only person here...besides you. Im at a complete loss as to how to install these Mods and i cant seem to get anyone to help. Good luck to you fella.

ok,now seriosly....my name is Lukas and i do gaming since my first Nintendo NES in the middle of the eighties (i love Zelda).Later playing thousand times CS on aztek&Dust ( bestmapsever!!)with my friends.Now im 38 years old and spending just a few hours per week gaming with my notebook,mostly free steamgames and free Mods from the halflife universe.

Im trying to make my own singleplayermod for hl2, but im still writting the storyline and playing with the hammereditor.

I hope to find some inspiration here.

Just joined today, looking forward to have a chat and maybe get some advice on mods for games as well soon.

I'm Kristoffer, from la Suède. I like programming, drawing, level/character-design and music creation (but I really suck at music). I also enjoy running. I've done some pixel art as well, but not lately. Currently, I'm inspired by early 3D, DOS/PS1/N64-style graphics. I mostly make small experiments and jam games (most recently LD37). I've never gone public with any project with the intention of selling it, at some point I would like to.

I was an old lurker and downloader of files back in the good ole' days of Filefront. Feels nostalgic seeing some of the old stuff being posted here again. I saved some mod files for games like Star Trek Voyager: Elite Force, Elite Force II and the Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic games. I have started uploading a couple that has been requested, but I am not sure if they will work with newer versions of those games. I can only hope a modding renaissance for these games occurs here at the new Gamefront like it has for other communities (Nexus Mods, ModDB, etc).

I didn't see this at first. I usually do things backwards before I get em right. I am somewhat of a independent scholar. I have a patent and I have published a game on Google play. Currently developing with unreal engine and I am making progress. Java my first language using c++ for ue. I also draw a bit.
