Exactly what Jackson said... image updates had to be disabled as you would be uploading to the old server, but for mySQL it is easy to update to the new server... we are now however 100% on the new server which can be seen by the 0.01 load times

I suggest if fileserving is done, an admin must allow access to filespace on a mod by mod basis.

I dunno if fileserving will be possible just yet. This server has a 1000gig bandwidth limit monthly and the modDB does 180gigs, serving HTML alone, no files to speak of... if we were to serve files it quiet easily be a few terabytes monthly i reckon...

And of course if it ever were coding in, there'd be no que system at all for dotters I'll be damned if i am to wait

Let the people serve their own files. Leave the server space for the site to grow and get more traffic, that's what it's here for.

Fileserver isnt needed yet, would be useful though :o

a more clever idea (why more clever? cuz i thought of it!), would to instead of mirror files, have a mirror database of files, that's updated constantly, that way, you get lots of mirrors, and you dont slow down moddb
