Some years ago you minimized the mod descriptions and now people have to click on Read More to expand it. So the beautiful mod description is hidden behind a button that 90% of the visitors are too blind/stupid to press.

Can we please get rid of this?! Back to the way it used to be which was like a 1000 times better?

Thank you for your time.

Is there a particular mod?

I'd like to see this changed as well. For example in this download page the description contains critical installation & uninstallation instructions; the latter can save users a lot of time if they choose to uninstall the mod at some point.

So I would like to have an option to display the full description instead of the summary and the Read More... link.

Its a global thing not just my mod or another in particular. Well I'd be happy if my mod could be changed to the old format.

What was the reason behind the change if I may ask? I know I am late sorry. Is it because of mobile devices maybe?

The download page is a little different Axonis than the "read more" in profile descriptions.

The change was made because we used to get a lot of support tickets asking "where can I download this mod". What users didn't realize is they need to scroll down past the description to find it. Crazy I know, but we decided until we add a download button or information to the header, generally long descriptions caused a lot of confusion.

Yeah, I've also recently seen some in groups asking how to track them. Some long time ago you changed the wording from tracking to following and its a tiny link to click on. Maybe this could need a rewamp. Putting these buttons or links to click into the header is a good idea in my opinion.

Well clever modders would put the buttons into the description. It sounds a bit like actionism what you're doing. I mean when 10'000 people do find the download button the 2 or so "less internet savy" people who don't are well collateral damage. If they really want it they'll look for it. There is a files tab right under the header that they should see eventually.

I'm pretty sure that most scroll down because they want to see the comments. So while scrolling down they should come across the downloads.
