Letter to Disney... Thread

Knocking some sense into Disney

This seems as good a place as any to start this this so here;

This is the start of the letter to be sent to disney which was completed by my brother:

Dear Disney
You may have heard this before;
many complaints from many people, finding many different ways to complain.
So here is some more of that... but first, I would just like to say that Disney taking over LucasArts is the worst decision ever made, to me even worse than the start of world war two.

Here it is:
Canceling Star Wars 1313 and other developments was a low blow, AKA not cool... at all,
but getting rid of all LucasArts staff! Thats just sick.I'm disgusted, I can't believe such ignorance is humanly possible!Whats next? You hire the worlds population and, just for fun, fire them all?Typical of greedy companies such as yourself.I don't care what you have in store for us Star Wars fans, but I really don't care. I just want what I was anticipating to be released. Why? Because it was good, and if you can't see that... well then fire yourselves!Good day

Although I agree with your sentiments, what exactly do you hope to achieve with this letter?

I'm not sure Disney will care for an 8 line complaint.

Haha, this letter will get nothing done. First off, you could at least try to sound professional about the whole thing before sending a complaint letter to a multi-million dollar company. Get those typos out of there and keep a neat manner. Second, get signatures, or people to agree with this in some media, such as this thread and link it to disney, asking indieDB to contribute to the cause and voice their opinions. A simple, i hate you, stop doing what you're doing, will achieve absolutely nothing. Just some ideas, I completely agree with Disney failing star wars fans everywhere, and I don't expect these movies to be anything better than Disney's usual crap.

Disney has responded and explained the situation...

It seems less arguable then I had thought.

Their reasons where... stupid... but at least they are trying to make all operations progress through external companies.

For some reason they sent me trailers, and unseen gameplay footage of Star Wars 1313 and Battlefront 3!

Good to hear at least. I just hope that nothing goes wrong from here on out, like a rubbish movie.

So I no longer have anything to argue about.
