Idea: Doom 3 Eternal - Slayer Edition Thread

This is just an idea, to see if we could get either a kickstart (or something) on a massive Doom 3 modernization project. Call it Doom 3 - Eternal, or? Since Doom 3 is technically a Doom 1 remake? Doom - Slayer Edition, in tribute of both Doom 3 and the current adaptions. Ultimately this mod would simply just import/ convert the Slayer (Doom Guy) asset from 2016/ Eternal, as well as its weapon skins, into Doom 3. Not so much the enemy though, as they are not as scary in the later games.

While I am more of a fan of what Doom 3 has done for the evolution, scare factor and story of the overall Doom universe? I still think there are some things that Doom 3 could use from the later incarnates...namely the replacement of the protagonist.
