How to link file for game mods? Thread

My file size for my mod is too big. So i have to link a download link instead of uploading a file.

I have tried tons of different uploaders from Google Drive to Mega.nz and every link that I copy over says "your upload link has failed. please check the url etc etc and then says links to webpages and redirects wont work and that the file im trying to upload is a text/html."

How can I get a direct link, I only have one option on any website I use and that is "get link"

A work around other developers/modders have used when their files are too large to upload as one, is to upload multiple parts to your profile. Not ideal, but is a pretty standard thing to do on our sites for a while now.

Otherwise if it is more of a tech issue, we often recommend to try uploading files from different internet browsers, as sometimes that can help too.
