How does duplicate mod deletion work Thread

I want to create a mod called "Black Mesa: Opposing Force" but a user by the name of "Dany007" already made one with the same name. he is not working on his mod anymore. Will my Mod page be deleted for being a duplicate if i create mine even though its 2 separate projects with the same name?

Prolly yeah.. why not change the name to Black Mesa: Rival Force or something sounds even better to me
