Game Designer / Writer looking for PAID job Thread

Hello there.My name is Andreas, and I have participated in various projects as a writer / Game Designer, where I have been writing GDD's/Development wiki's, Level "examples", and so forth.

I am mainly looking for paid jobs, as my schedule is full with unpaid, and while I understand that few people are able to pay, then I really need to earn some money on what I do best, really!

Rates go from 10 $ and up.I am not requiring too much, but all depending on the job, I guess it would max be 50 $ (I can surely be more, but I am not requiring more).So are you interested in my services, then do not hestitate and give me a shout at @

Most of my work is for unannounced titles and thus cannot be shared among any type of GDD/Development Wiki. I have, though, helped with the creation of this game's GDD:

Other than that; I should surely be able to do any kind of 'test' that could prove me worthy. Other than that I do have a good amount of experience in level design with a few development teams on the CryENIGNE 3 platform. This includes the Resistance and Liberation team and the Project Reality 2 development team, both game developers on the CryENGINE 3 platform.

Proof or it didn't happen. Preferably samples of your contributions to that game's GDD and/or your portfolio. You're asking people to give you money. Prove to us that it's worth it.

You can't go around demanding money for your work if you have nothing or little to show.

Rather than waiting for someone to "test" you, you need to take the initiative and write something you CAN share with others. It could be a piece of plot or a short story you came up with. Although I personally think getting paid writer work at your own rates does require much more of a portfolio than that.

Thanks for the tips. I'd try and get a portfolio and so up, and later on try again.

If you are looking on moddb for a PAID writing job, you are looking in the wrong place.

We have space for a job its not 100% chance of pay it all depends on the money we make we plan to split it all equal pm if interested
