Not a chance! The only thing that could kill chief is Chuck Norris... getting left in the vast expanse of space doesn't even come close

Hey, I'd like to see what all the fuss is about. I've only owned a playstation up until now (I don't mention PC ok - so dont slay me). Think Bill Gates is magnanimous enough to let one of his flagship console titles free?? ;)

Vary vary interesting, the thing is though, Master Chief is hard core, but lucky, Now with ODST coming out, We navigate away from him for a while. I won't be happy, but atleast I will get to learn more about the awsome ODST warriors, while the game creators cleverly incorperate more covies and more floodies into Halo 4.

Hilarious how little the people here actually know about the Halo franchise.

The game's quality isn't Bungie's fault, it's Microsoft. Bungie was forcet to rush every Halo game from the start, and withe the bullshit MS was giving them, I'm suprised it did so well. I just hope they'll get to do at least ONE Halo game without M$ breathing down their necks. ODST actually looks original in it's storytelling style...

He was saved by the mighty sequel spirit, the same one that breathed life into the corpse of Highlander 2 and the Star Wars prequels. You'd better hope there's no Halo 4, less you want to sit in agony as everything you loved about Halo gets swept away in a wave of floppy eared aliens and last-minute-cut fart jokes.

Perhaps that's because Bungine has been spun off...

Now that they don't have Microsoft breathing down their backs, I'm hoping we will see some real quality games out of Bungie, that aren't simply rushed out for the monetary benefit of a company with a giant marketing machine that can seemingly make even a rushed product seem like the holy grail to a pack of fans.

I don't see why everyone is so harsh towards Halo. The books show you how deep the universe really is, which is more than any other FPS out there. As far as the game goes I didn't play it until a year after the release, but when I did I feel in love with the original. When I first crashed on the ring I just ran around looking at the sky. And the beach landing, that will be one of my top gamming moments, next to witnessing Inoxx's Phobos for the first time and discovering Samus was a chick way back in '91. It was a great game and the first Ive ever played with split screen co-op. The game is still easily better than the latest crap such as farcry, crysis, quake 4, etc. Hell, I found Half Life 2 to be one of the most boring and depressing games ever made. I never even finished the campaign or played one single mp game and everyone talks like it was great. Halo 2 and 3, they pretty much sucked in my opinion, but I'll still hold the original as the third best FPS of all time, right behind goldeneye and UT99.
