Nice idea, I love the original MGS from Sony PlayStation 1. The map should be very attractive. I don't understand the part with the question what is wrong, but also, since I'm not in mapping (or Half-Life and it's parts, expansions etc.) I don't think I can be much of a help. If you want to read an opinion of an unexperienced guy (aka me), then I must say that the map looks balanced enough... I guess... -- Really good luck in everything that is really good. ...and also don't forget to visit this website too... unless you are already there, then don't forget to come back here |

Definitely, the two sides can probably chuck grenades at the other spawn point from their spawn. Still, it's hard to judge the scale, and overall it's a very nice design. --

try putting the spawn point of the CT on point nr3 and make the obstacles realy big (maybe even up to the ceiling) -- °w° |

Im using the dev/measure textures right now. Not that much to look at, really. Having trouble designing the computer room tho. It's gotta have multiple entrances, and have limited camping places. Back to the drawing board! -- |

Call me blind, but where's bombsite A? Is it coupled with CT spawn? I think you should put a vent [or just some sort of passage] going from area 1 to area 4, much like the light blue one going from 2 to 4, otherwise it's going to be very easy for CT to just sit and snipe the terrorists from relatively near their own spawn. If CT Spawn does double up as bombsite A you could do with opening up an alternative entrance there as well, perhaps another vent in the righthand corner of the image going from 3 to 2. Right now it looks as if the Terrorists are going to be doing all the work whilst the CTs sit around picking them off, which is really unfair on a de_ map. -- The secret to creativity is knowing how to hide your sources. |
