I've only checked out the iphone for a minute from a friend who has one. Before I got to actually use it myself, I had started working on a game for it and now that I've used it, I'm questioning if the game is right for the iphone. It seems like most of the games I saw on his phone primarily utilize the tilting feature and touchscrene. Now the game I've got going seems like it may involve a bit too much button work for it. Anyone worked with the iphone, moving through space in 1st person and picking things up? I may just have some creative gridlock at the moment, but I'd love to hear from anyone who's more familiar with it |

I regularly build graphics, both 2D and 3D for the iPhone. Anything 3D and first person would almost have to be done with Unity Engine. It runs on the iphone now. It can be a bit bulky on the CPU with long load times but its just about the only thing that can do 3D. |

For UI take a look at the Wolfenstein game - it's basically an analogue movement stick replicated on the touchscreen, up to move forwards, left/right to turn, down to move backwards. |
