3D modeling of room for acoustic analysis Thread

Hello,
I work for an engineering firm which has been utilizing 3D laser scanners for almost 15 years.We are a civil engineering firm that provides existing conditions CAD drawings for designers.We are interested if a 3D plan in AutoCAD/Revit would be uselfull in some of your audio engineering packages?
Please let me know your thoughts.
