2d island survival Thread

hi I've been thinking lately on making a 2d island survival game. it would have the usual hunger/thirst along with the challenges of staying alive.. the story would be of an airplane crash were you are the only survivor. the player must hunt animals for food, or fish, or farm. there will be random events that will make it hard for the player to survive (those moments were your doing so great, but then something happens that screws you over). so i'd just like to know if people would play the game if i made it.

Sounds like Don't Starve with a different setting to me.

Nice idea, but typical . Details will be very important.

A bit like Stranded but 2D, well surely there are plenty out there but most of them suck, to compete with Stranded or Minecraft the game would have to have something really innovative.
