yeah, i know what you mean.

some of the confirmed info is quite disturbing.
Multiplatform. permanent regenerating health. Third person cover. Forced third person view for some augs. Lack of skills.

But most annoying thing is that they released almost NO info and NO media for the last 1,5 year.
Even the things they've promised to deliver. Talk about crappy public relations.

in that order, only things on my radar atm. Well, a few indy games, but I hold retail titles to more of an estimated release date vs indies.

Thought I might give this a mention...

it's just recently been announced that Stargate : Resistance will be released on the 10th of February! It's the very first official Stargate based game to be licensed by MGM studios and actually released! Sadly still no Singleplayer tho which is the only downside.

not sure if it will be released in aus this year but S.T.A.L.K.E.R. Call of Pripyat is released in Russia this year.

World of Warcraft: Cataclysm should be coming out too.
Quite a lot of nice games are on the release list for later this year so far.

2000 called - they want their visuals back. Let's face it, it's fugly, game mechanics sound awful and is being developed by a nobody with zero experience, published by a nobody with zero experience, and isn't going anywhere. How you can make an Unreal 3 Engine game look that bad is beyond me. Half the work was done for them, and it's still a trainwreck.

Keep in mind that it's being developed by the same team/developer who have been working on Stargate Worlds for the past god-knows how many years? and was actually begun about a year or two previous, and was picked back up to create revenue to fund the completion of Worlds. So yea, it's possible that a lot of the contents of the game are a combination of very old/early work and hand-me-downs from unused SG:Worlds assets etc... But lets face it... Since the fall and cancellation of SG:Alliance all those years ago, this is still good news for Stargate fans who've been wanting an official title released.

On the other hand tho... I agree to an extent and know where you're coming from. It's a very rushed and primitive looking release. It's unfortunate that we have to take what we get and I just hope that the GamePlay will make up for some of its short comings. Only time after release will tell I suppose.

I think Crysis 2 will kick ass! but i`ll need a new pc! ^^
