I love this idea! good job!
good stuff! really nice to listen in on while playing a game with volume turned down a bit :P
No podcast RSS?? I want to download this stuff straight to my Zune!
Excellent D:
Excellent, a good listen!
Sounds like a shacknews attempt. Fileshack has like 18 episodes down now. So how long is this gonna run? :\
The shackcast is great (will is continue now that Remo's gone?) but we are not trying to mimic it at all. We discuss solely mods in addition to interviewing mod developers every show.
\: are they saying Insurgency is a copy?
I probably shouldn't say this, but.. technically it is, but it's a copy of something from reality, instead of a fictional thing.
The whole "copy" thing is kind of sticky, because honestly, almost everything nowadays is a copy of /something/. So, it just depends on how you take it.
Awesome. I can't wait until you get an automatic feed sorted, I'll end up forgetting to listen otherwise.
go chris :) I trained you well!
Yes, great feature. I like this but think of your foreign visitors. You are talking pretty fast there. ;)
Ya I'm sorry about that, its usually a stream of consciousness at an unregulated speed. I'll try to slow it down a bit next time but can't make any promises.
So there is nothing to complain but speed in the beginning. All of your pronunciation was very well understandable (for me) because there was no slang in it. Also the audio quality is very well. Keep on the good work, I really want to hear more of such good made interviews. There is a lot of stuff the mod community can learn from experiences of the mod community.
ehhh guys most mods these days are
studio mods
school mods
team based mods
and they are being released in this order. deep down PR is key.
nice first show
stop tuching your mic
Chris likes playing with his quarters too.
Nicely done guys. Was hoping to hear more about "The Hunted Chronicles" but that aside I enjoyed the topic of discussion, the ZPS plug, and hearing what the PV team had to say :)
Tats...
Nicely done, this is great and funny. :) and BlueWolf72 your right.
nice first show!
NSFW
I don't know if it is common practice, but I believe most groups try to keep swaring to a minimum in podcasts.
Good first podcast though, good ideas.
I really enjoyed that podcast! Got everything a podcast needs, but it's kinda too long, though. I hade to make 3 breaks to finish listening, so.. a little bit shorter and it's just amazing!
Wow! That was really cool! Looking forward for the next episode!
its wicked man so good :D.. Do you have a headset ryan or a desktop mic
I have a headset, but the first part was more of an experiment so the volume levels were kind of hard to fix. As you can see with the interview we fixed most of the kinks.
Very nice idea! I love listening in on stuff like this.
I hope you keep podcasting going for all time =)
It would be/ is a great addition to the modding community.
Another idea cause me and chris would do these live is post about the upcoming show so we can ask questions for you to answer via the podcast?
This would require to know what to ask so knowing who you have on and the topics.
Just an idea
Great idea, listened through the whole of it. Can't wait for next episode (guests could be insurgency team :) ).
ModDb is one of my fav sites !!!!
That was fantastic! :)
this wont how i now is i may a suggestion for something like this a long time ago right after moddb gave up on the moddb radio and they only did two of them but they where done so far apart
Took a while, but the result is awesome!
I'd love to hear more perspectives of the mod developers.
Great new feature, keep it up, guys!
Really nice! May be, some day I could try to take part in podcast.
The ModDB download dose not work for me.. it just comes up with a Quick Time player thing, and starts it.......
hers a name for it: DBcast
Pfft. ModCast more like ;)
Good idea, good job!
Next we'll see ModDB TV :P I hope so! Gamespot Live sucks these days.
I was hoping more for a video podcast, but this works.
this going to be on itunes at all?
I have only listend to about half of it so far. And while some of it does drag a little, it is rather interesting.
Have you thought about taking suggestions from us, the lowly modDB member, on the topics talked about in the podcasts?
Yeah, I'll be posting about the guests for the next show soon and we'll field some questions from users.
Well thats good news. I don't know about anyone else but I like having the opportunity to get involved in things like this if I want to.
But I jave to say while it did drag a little it was very interesting. I look forward to more in the future. It was a much better chat than simply games are 1337, anyone who doesn't play such and such is a douche, etc.
I saw this really late. Am getting thru listening to it now, this is great!
