Gratuitous Space Battles
A strategic management game, described a sci-fi tower defence game with moving spaceships and configurable units, where you design your own ships from a series of hulls and modular components, then group them into a fleet, give the fleet orders and positions and then watch it engage in OTT gratuitous space battles against enemy fleets.
Eich's Legacy Edition
Contains 3 free mods in one package: Scavenger, Pirates! and Legios. Each module adds a new faction.
Legios: Legios is the name of an infamous 'organisation' which terrorizes the whole galaxy. Basically are the men and women of Legios just a bunch of mercenaries. They proclaim to be the succesors of an old perished empire, but in reality they are just the same old rotten space scum you find in every rundown tavern. But nevertheless, if you have enough credits to hire them they are a force you can count on. If you offer enough, they are even willing to fight against each other. The battlefields and arenas of the universe are their home.
Pirates: In the history of mankind there was no age without pirates. In the old days pirates sailed across the seven seas onboard ships made out of nothing but wood. Those crazy basterds! Later in history pirates were roaming not only the sea but also the air. They terrorized mankind with eyepatches made of carbon and tritanium legs. During the centuries pirates evolved. Nowadays cyborg and insect pirates are very common. So sign up for a live without shackles and full of adventure.
Scavengers: 'A great war leaves the country with three armies - an army of cripples, an army of mourners, and an army of thieves'. Due to the economic failure and social uproar after the war all sorts of soldiers of fortune gathered in the outer rims to live their lives away from hunger, regimentation and oppression. Soon they discovered the value of the relicts which floated trough space after the great war. Driven by their wish for a better world and a lust for power the Scavengers formed an army. Now they demand their due slice of the pie. And they won't hesitate to use the very same weapons which destroyed their old lives.
Mods are provided free of charge. Desura should be able to find your game if it's installed to Program Files or bought through Steam. If you have GSB installed elsewhere (than Steam folder / Program Files directory), you can always shoot a PM.
