BATTLE MECHANICS: I achieved to add original DOOM's some mechanics to my "Age of DOOM" mod despite it was made with the Age of Empires 2 game engine. There are 5 different available Battle Mechanics of this mod. Their names are "Sprint", "Double Barreled Shotgun", "Rocket Barreled Shotgun", "BFG" and "Soul Cube".

REGULAR MARINE: Marine uses his "Standard Shotgun" weapon (35 regular attack damage with unlimited ammos) in his regular mode. Also he always walks (125 regular walking speed) instead of sprinting in his regular mode. When Marine deactivates Sprint he returns to walk. When Marine deactivates a better weapon he returns to use his "Standard Shotgun" weapon.

SPRINT [1]: Marine can activate/deactivate his Sprint ability boundlessly by writing "1" in chat part. Sprint makes Marine's movement speed faster. Marine has 125 walking speed. After the Sprint his speed becomes 225. So he can get away from melee enemies quicker. He can avoid from all projectiles easier. He can skip all environmental hazards easier. Players need to check "the food number" to follow Marine's Sprint percent. Marine has maximum 100 Sprint percent. When the Sprint is active he loses 5 percent Sprint in each game second. Marine gains 5 Sprint percent after each 3 game seconds while he is walking. If Marine's Sprint percent reduces to zero he becomes exhausted by returning to the walking mode automatically. Also Marine needs to have at least 25 percent Sprint to be able to activate the Sprint ability again. Lastly the game will unlock this ability after Marine reaches "Old Communication Building" in Episode 2.

DOUBLE BARRELED SHOTGUN [2]: Marine can activate/deactivate his DBS weapon boundlessly by writing "2" in chat part. Marine has 35 regular (only "Standard Shotgun") attack damage. After he activates this weapon he obtains 35 more attack damage. His total attack damage becomes "35+35" in the screen. He can kill tougher enemy units faster. However this weapon has limited ammos. After Marine's each kill he loses a DBS ammo. Players need to check "the stone number" to follow Marine's DBS ammo count. Also Marine can find new DBS ammos from "UAC Supply Depot" building by bringing himself on a carpet of these building types. If Marine loses his all DBS ammos he returns to use the regular "Standard Shotgun" automatically. Also he needs to have at least one DBS ammo to be able to activate the DBS weapon again. Also Marine always needs to only equip the "Standard Shotgun" weapon to be able to activate the DBS weapon again. Lastly the game will give this weapon in a late section of the Episode 2.

ROCKET BARRELED SHOTGUN [3]: Marine can activate/deactivate his RBS weapon boundlessly by writing "3" in chat part. Marine has 35 regular (only "Standard Shotgun") attack damage. After the activates this weapon he obtains 105 more attack damage. His total attack damage becomes "35+105" in the screen. He can kill tougher enemy units faster. However this weapon has limited ammos. After Marine's each kill he loses a RBS ammo. Players need to check "the gold number" to follow Marine's RBS ammo count. Also Marine can find new RBS ammos from "UAC Supply Depot" building by bringing himself on a carpet of these building types. If Marine loses his all RBS ammos he returns to use the regular "Standard Shotgun" automatically. Also he needs to have at least one RBS ammo to be able to activate the RBS weapon again. Also Marine always needs to only equip the "Standard Shotgun" weapon to be able to activate the RBS weapon again. This weapon has the "splash damage" mechanic. After Marine's each kill this weapon gives 70 splash damage to all available enemy units. In addition Marine hurts himself with 10 splash damage. Lastly the game will give this weapon in a middle section of the Episode 3.

BFG [4]: This weapon's mechanic is more different than previous weapons. Marine can activate this weapon despite his one of other weapon(s) are active or not. Because this weapon is independent from Marine's other weapons. Also this weapon doesn't have a deactivation system. Because it only sends a BFG Cell to the target(s) one time after its each activation. This means that you need to activate this weapon again each time to send a BFG Cell to the target(s). You need to write "4" in chat part to activate this weapon. A BFG Cell hurts all enemies of the map 4 times. After activating this weapon players hear the BFG sound effect and after waiting for 5 game seconds first hit damages all enemies. After that the BFG Cell hits all enemies 3 more times after each game second. The BFG Cell gives "300" damage to all enemies in each hit. This means that "1200 total damage" after all 4 hits. This weapon has limited ammos. Players need to check "the wood number" to follow Marine's BFG Cell amount. Marine can find new BFG Cell(s) from "UAC Supply Depot" building by bringing himself on a carpet of these building types. Also after activating this weapon players need to wait for at least 8 game seconds to be able to activate this weapon again. Lastly the game will give this weapon in a middle section of the Episode 4.

SOUL CUBE [1]: This artifact charges itself by collecting Demon Souls. Your unit needs to kill 5 Demons to charge this weapon 100 percent. After charging this weapon 100 percent you can activate this weapon when you want by writing "1" in chat part. When you activate it your unit's hp recovers 100 percent and attack damage increases 250 amount. His damage becomes "35+250" in the screen. Also his movement speed increases 100 amount (125+100=225 total amount) ONLY in the first Cyberdemon boss battle. Its effects last 10 game seconds. After 10 game seconds your unit's attack damage and movement speed return to the regular amount. After its effects finish your unit needs to kill 5 Demons again to charge this weapon 100 percent again. So he will be able to activate this weapon again after charging it 100 percent. Lastly this artifact is only available in the first episode. It is very important against the first Cyberdemon boss.

EXAMPLE: There is an example video here to show you the first two mechanics:
