The Diesel Engine is DirectX based, and thus can be used for both PC and Xbox games. It is object based and scalable enabling new features to be added easily. If an artist wants to try out a new effect or environmental setting this is done through a viewer application we built, so there is seldom need for any time consuming re-compilations and such.
