The Cyclone Game Engine is a cross-platform 2D/3D game engine built upon MonoGame and the XNA Framework to help make it easier and save time creating games. The engine is still in its infancy stages of development. It is primarily built to serve the needs of Steel Cyclone Studios' game projects. More updates are coming so stay tuned!!!

Description

In this update, I was able to implement an ocean shader with wave ripples and light reflecting on the water's surface. Water is one of the most complex shaders to render in games. I will mess around with different water textures for a variety of water visuals and strength of the waves. The spider enemy AI is still in very early stages of development. The spider now takes damage and I am working on a chase algorithm and AI States. There is still lots of work ahead. The textures on the terrain are low res for now. The terrain in this video had a few missing triangles in its model mesh. I am currently adding more to the terrain. Thanks for watching!
