Wow, nice work man! I use BGE as well (even though I'm kinda newbie). Anyway, how did you managed to do the distortion effect??

Super late to this, but there's a chromatic aberration filter and a bloom filter running. The white line is just a texture that gets UV-scrolled, if I recall correctly.
