Now you can play with Keyboard/Mouse or your XBOX 360 Controller.
Limitations of the demo are:
- 1 - 2Players (Up to 4 Players in full ver)
- Play the first 15 levels of Story Mode (40 levels in full ver)
- Play Retro and Horde Mode in 5 minute intervals (no time limits in full ver)
Update V1.05 brings with it the official launch of World Destroyers! We'd like to say a HUGE
thank you to everyone who provided feedback during the soft launch!
The latest version is packed full of improvements and optimizations. Here are some of the highlights!
Change Log:
- Improved support for mouse/keyboard. (But we still recommend using a controller)
- New game mode Bounty Brawl! Battle your friends AND the World Destroyers at the same time for a race to a chosen number of points!
- Better looking level summary screen for admiring your handy work. Also added this to horde mode.
- Redone tutorials to help ease new players into the game. (from feedback)
- Completely rewritten story for a more engaging experience. (from feedback)
- Improved loading times. Now all assets are preloaded upfront so there is virtually now loading in game. Gameplay tips are shown while loading.
- In later levels you no longer need to clear all the small and medium rocks. (from feedback)
- Tweaked weapon HUD for easier readability.
- Menu and UI improvements.
- Performance improvements to particle system and collision testing system.
- New art for indicating when players special abilities are available for use.
- Colour coded scoreboard for arcade modes.
- Improved racing checkpoints to make tracks for clearer. (from feedback)
- Added item ghosting as an option for battlemodes. Items will appear faded with a timer indicating when they can be picked up.
- A TON of misc gameplay tweaks and improvements.
