Extends the dialogue heard in the game. For more specific info look at the Summary page.
Update v1.1: Added few lines that i overlooked in the previous version
To install, go to where you installed Far Cry, then go to FCData, then to Localized, then open english file with WinRAR. After that open Languages and you will see the missiontalk folder. Copy all files from the missiontalk folder you downloaded and paste it into the one you located. Replace the files if asked
Adds about 3/4 of dialogue that were either left unused or simply extends the existing ones. Examples:
Training- When you pick up the Binoculars and start to swim to reach the other side, Jack will tell Doyle that someone is paying for his boat. There is also an additional conversation where Doyle tells jack to use the jungle as cover when reaching the camp
Carrier- Extended dialogue when Doyle asks Jack if he has found Val yet. Also after Crowe says over the radio that they transported Val to the Bunker, the Mercenary that was talking to him will say "So that leaves us to fend for ourselves, i guess?"
Fort- Extended dialogue at the start of the mission, after Doyle tells Jack that he should be able to see the Com Center at the top of the hill and at the section where Doyle must hack the door
Pier- Doyle comments about Jack's answer on does he know to fly gliders at the start
Research- Additional line at the start of the mission and after exiting the elevator at the end
Treehouse- Extended the conversation when Jack asks Doyle about what the Trigens are doing here. Plus extended dialogue when Jack picks up a keycard
Bunker- This level actually doesn't have any unused dialogue
Steam- Added two more lines after Jack picks up the googles
Regulator- Few more lines added after turning on the valves
Control- Extended version of the dialogue at the beginning. Before the room where the Biohazard Mercenaries are fighting the Trigens i replaced the "we've got a truck back here..." line with the Mercenary screaming while being slowly killed by the Trigens because the original line seems out of place (since it can also be found in the Bunker folder) and i fell the Mercenary screaming fits more in addition to the dead Worker you can find to your right. And lastly, Doyle will inform Jack about Trigens escaping from cages that you saw at the ending cutscene in Regulator in the area where Jack sees dead Fatboys for the first time
Rebellion- Extended dialogue before exiting the building when Doyle tells you that your best bet is to go to the main Archives
Archives- Additional lines when Doyle warns you about "strange stuff down there"
Cooler- More lines when Doyle informs you the Elite Troops have sealed the elevators. Also a couple more lines after Doyle suggests flooding the room. And finally, two more lines at the very end when you find Val and help her take down the two remaining Trigens
Boat- Extended dialogue at the beginning. Additionally, After destroying Crowe's helicopter, Jack savagely insults him
Catacombs- Additional line when coming into contact first time with the Nerve Gas. The same goes when you approach the Temple's entrance without the C4
River- Few more additional lines when uploading the PDA at the end of the level
Swamp- More lines between Val and Jack
Factory- Same as in Swamp
Dam- Additional line when Jack jumps down the waterfall and before he says "i gotta find a way outta here!"
Volcano- After getting into Doyle's office and after Jack tells him that this wasn't it his plans Doyle will yell "WHAT THE HELL?"
And many more because i most certainly missed to mention some. Enjoy!
