Fallout2 Patch 1.05 (Unofficial) by Enclave Interactive & FMC

INTRO:

Here is a patch that fixes bugs listed below (to find out about them, see the readme.txt and this file). When you start the game, it will show that you're running the 1.02 version. This is normal. If you don't like it, close your eyes when moving around the menu ;). It is recommended that you start a new game after installing the patch.

INSTALLATION:

US

Place the \data folder, fallout2.exe, readme.txt and this file into the game directory.

UK

Place the \data folder and this file into the game directory. Then unpack the uk.zip file and overwrite everything.

1.03:

- Improved Flamer will do proper damage
- Magneto-Laser Pistol does proper damage and has greater range
- FN FAL HPFA now has a description
- Changed the capacity of Expanded Assault Rifle from 100 to 48
- Changed the capacity of Expanded Desert Eagle from 20 to 12
- Changed the capacity of .44 Magnum (SpeedLoader) from 6 to 12 and decreased range from 20 to 15
- Small fix in the Enclave computer terminal
- Grisham will no longer call Balthas Balthus (Or Balthos, I can't quite remember.)
- A fix in Badger's dialogue
- Tubby will now tell you about Redding
- Marge will no longer say that Dan supports the NCR
- Some small fixes in President Richardson's dialogue
- Vault City gate guard will now call Marcus a mutant and Lenny a ghoul
- Fixed and changed some map names (For example in Modoc, the B&B section didn't have any name after the toilet explosion.)
- Changed the firing sounds of Bozar and M60
- Small fix in Merk's dialogue
- Nording will now say he gives you $50 instead of $500
- Raiders Base is now hidden
- Pulse Rifle now has a projectile
- A fix in Doc Johnson's dialogue involving the Phoenix Implants price
- Changed some quest names
- Little change in Dunton's dialogue
- You have now a 95% chance of getting addicted to Jet and 25% to Mentans
- Using a poison you can actually... poison yourself (Strange, isn't it?)
- Eating Iguana-on-a-stick will now heal you
- Drinking Gamma Gulp Beer and Roentgen Rum will now radiate you (5 and 10 rads)
- Many quest items now have a price
- The Poison Tank now has the same ground pic as the Oxygen Tank
- A change in the armor class

1.04:

- The armor class is back to normal
- Adv. Power Armor MKII now weights 40 pounds
- Changed the capacity of expanded assault rifle, expanded Desert Eagle and .44 Magnum (SpeedLoader) back to normal
- Decreased the reloading of the .44 Magnum (SpeedLoader) to 1AP
- Fixed a bug that caused the game to crash when you wanted to see the Autodoc Enhanced hit points, Autodoc Enhanced hit points II, Autodoc Lowered hit points and Autodoc Lowered hit points II
- Fixed a bug that enabled you to go thru certain walls in Hubologist's Base and Cat's Paw
- Children added (UK version only)
- Fixed a bug from 1.03 version which called the Shi computer place Brotherhood Base
- Now you're unable to get the loot from the four boxes in Broken Hills
- Dave Handy now has the Trophy of Recognition
- Changed the lit flares to normal ones (Hubologist's Base)
- Changed many maps (Klamath, Den, Gecko, Broken Hills, NCR, San Francisco, The Enclave)
- Dead Enclave Guard from Klamath now has dog tags instead of the keycard
- Removed one wanamingo from the mine
- Removed the useless laser tripwire in SAD
- The Radscorpion Limbs from Klamath have been replaced with Radscorpion Tail
- Removed the blue keycard from the Gecko's power plant
- Removed the Excavator Chip from Redding's mine
- Changed the names of some objects
- Added more items in San Francisco and Broken Hills
- Brotherhood Bases in the Den and NCR are now equipped
- Holy Hand Grenade CAN be found now
- Cafe of Broken Dreams no longer repops after being found
- You now need to be on level six to found the Cafe
- Now it is easier to get the red memory module
- Changed the Pathfinder and Master Trader perk information
- The lit flare now does a little more damage
- You can now punch with Gold Nugged, Uranium Ore and Refined Uranium Ore
- Military Base is now medium sized
- Now Marcus can throw grenades
- The Armor Piercing ammo now works correctly
- A fix in Bishop's dialogue
- Changed the weaponry of Buster's guards in NCR
- Small changes in the junkies dialogue
- Removed the Request Form from Harold's desk
- Now Wooz has some items for sale
- Added a Doctor's Bag on Lenny's shelf
- Removed the Bio Med Gel from the third level of SAD
- Removed the Auto Repair System from SAD
- Now Vault 15 looks more like in FO1
- Whiskey Bob now tells you he gives you $55
- Added some new items
- Added some new characters
- Beer now weights 1 pound
- Fixed a bug that prevented you from getting the best ending for Gecko
- Added a new ending for Vault 13
- Mirrored shades and flowers now weight nothing
- Party Members now change thier appearance when wearing armor
- Added the Zip Gun and Phazer weapons
- Lenny is now armed with a Zip Gun
- Changed the mysterious stranger person
- Now you can also skin the fire geckos
- Compatibility with the US version
- Many more changes and fixes

1.05:

- Fixed a bug that caused errors with some maps (Den, San Fran, NCR, Broken Hills)
- Changed Mrs. Bishop's dialogue
- Some more small changes
