A very rough minimal prototype of a plat former I am working on. The goal/puzzle in each level is to find the highest achievable score. At the start of each level you can fly around the level and remove parts of it to shape the level and get the most points out of it. Removing platforms that make the level harder gives you more points. Removing obstacles subtract points. Time affects the score greatly. Scoring is simple and everything that affects it is visible to the player. The player should always be rewarded for making the level more challenging and penalized for making it easy.
