A limit-removing standalone map for Doom 2, MAOP01, which reimagines Doom's E1M4, "Command Control." Use a source port that supports .mp3 to hear the new music.
This marks the fourth map in my UAC-MX series, a series of standalone maps that use the base engine to rework the original Knee Deep in the Dead episode of the original Doom. UAC-M4 is a reinterpretation of E1M4's "Command Control." It proved to be a real challenge to develop, as there are a lot of branching paths and several vanilla-style bridges. I wanted to expand on the original while keeping its main architectural ideas intact.
The central circular chambers containing the blue key are part of a puzzle that also requires you to open the C-locks, which open partition walls between the chambers' doors, which are marked C1 through C4. If the C-locks remain closed, you won't be able to exit. UAC-M4 contains original music and uses resources from the "Doom Textures for Doom II" resource from Realm 667.
