We have released now an early version of this project that has been in works in one way or another from 2016, read below for more information.
Turmoil Across the Stars - 0.35 Early Alpha Release Version After years of work on the project we reached a phase where we can present the Warband version of the module to the public even in its incomplete state. This release is aimed to gather feedback on individual parts of the module & to give our dedicated fans confirmation that their hopes were not in vain. While sharring many feature with the original Mount & Blade version, Warband's advanced module system allow us to expand and improve on many gameplay functions and you can experience some of these improvements in this release. The path to 1.0 is still long and will take a long time, however unlike before, the modification will receive multiple public releases so players will see how the module is being shapped based on their contributions. If you would like to take a direct part in the module developement our team would welcome you as any help is welcome in our goal to create the best Star Wars experience possible. Module features: # Freelancer modification incorporation # Automatic blasters (Work-in-progress) # Lightsabers # Lightsabers deflection # Force Powers # Phase I clone armors # Phase II clone armors # Tens of civilians outfits & armors # Re-done equipement slots system allowing use of different equipement across various outfits (Work-in-progress) List of known issues: # Invisible hands on some characters. # Necessity to wear transparent footwear in combination with some armors & outfits if there is no equipement in the footwear slot. Every merchant on any spacestation have this item in their inventory. # Inconsistency in weapon behaviour, damage values & troop abilities. Current troop trees are incomplete and subject to change. # Legacy models are used for the player character when playing as aliens while NPCs are using new models. # Player inventory & campaign starting equipement & items not adjusted for Alien races. It is recommended to play as human characters in this release. # Ocassional audio & visual issues when firing fully automatic blasters. # Animation blending issues. # Obsolete, developement & broken items or weapons may spawn in troops inventories. # Companions are currently still based on their original SWC version. Our story & lore department is working hard together with our artists to make unique companions and they will be released in the following versions. # User Interface inconsistencies, native UI used in parts of the module. We would like to thank the original Star Wars Conquest modification developement team for laying the groundwork on which we could build. The Bear Force II modification developement team for their contributions in form of assets, code & their camaraderie. The Warband modding community on the talesworld forums & Discord for their help, advices and contributions toward the modification. Our testers which had to endure all our programing mistakes and bugs we released on them. Our dedicated fans on Moddb.com, Discord & across the net which stayed with us the whole time & which passion for the project motivated us to persist & continue to work on the module. The mod is looking really nice, but if I might make a request, could you please implement the enterprise system in your next patch or release? Loved the original SWC, and only stopped playing it for the one reason of the missing businesses. Anyhow, great work so far. Thank you in advance.
Trading can be quite profitable, and if done well enough, go to the point where player can just sit at ease while the wealth he amassed to bank keeps building itself up, its really the only way to ensure that player has always a lot of money coming in
That sounds like a lot of work for a weaker result. Is it really so hard to build the businesses back in?
Theyre not exactly "removed" as you might think. More like, they havent existed in the mod so far. in MB version of the module there were no business options either, i think they didnt really exist in Original Mount and Blade yet, i might be wrong here, but they definitely didnt exist in SWC, so that carried over to WB version, which is our modbase. Probably they could be added back in, but its questionable when that would be done.
Oooh, I was away for a local sci-fi convention, not really starwars but a mish mash of other sci-fi franchises and missed the release date of this mod, only then when some dude in a phase 2 clone armor mentioned a starwars mod during one of the conversations.
Time to take this baby for a spin.

We are aware of the issue that CIS systems give Jedi and Republic Darksiders. As stated this due to the faction changes

Mod is amazing.
Every time I launch the mod it loads for a second the immediately crashes anyone know why?
My game currently crashes whenever I enter a battle. What could be causing that?
I have every intention of downloading the mod this weekend. You know. For research purposes.
