Prologue
The dreams are coming faster now... everything is different but somehow the same. The Zone is inexplicably expanding as scientists struggle and fail to find explanations and answers to these mysterious phenomena. Most Stalkers think their worst nightmare is a well armed and armoured human... they are wrong. If only they knew what you do.
This is The Zone, and it will find a way to kill you.
How to install:
Extract Gamedata and bin folder along with fsgame to Stalker - Shadow of Chernobyl directory. For parts 2 and 3 extract the Gamedata folder to Stalker - Shadow of Chernobyl.
User.ltx;
This file is required (but optional) to see TK2.Zero in all its graphical goodness. If you choose to use this file be aware that you will need to redo your key bindings, and if you game at any other resolution than 1680*1050 you will need to open user.ltx with notepad, scroll to the very bottom and change vid_mode to whatever resolution you game at.
XR3DA Patcher:
This patcher will allow XR3DA.exe to address more than 2GB of system memory. You can also use this patcher if you are using a 32bit OS, allowing XR3DA to address and use close to 4GB.
Global Illumination:
Enabled by default in user.ltx. If you are experiencing poor performance you will need to disable GI. Open user.ltx and change r2_gi to off.

Yeah I had to leave it uploading over night as the upload process to moddb is painfully slow. Every time I have to upload anything over 100MB I make sure theres no sharp objects nearby I can slit my wrists with :p

I'm a bit new to the modding scene, only really playing the Complete 2012 mod a few years back. I stumbled upon your mod a while back, and since then I've been really excited to try it out as I am mega impressed with the way the game looks. I finally built a pc capable of handling it, but I'm having some issues getting it to run. I've copied over the gamedata director, from part 1 2 and 3, the bin directory and fsgame.ltx file into the main game directory. I have also tried with and without the user.ltx file, but each time the game loads it crashed to desktop, before the title screen with this error XR_3DA.exe caused BREAKPOINT in module "D:\S.T.A.L.K.E.R. - Shadow of Chernobyl\bin\xrCore.dll" at 0023:01527CB5, xrDebug::backend()+165 byte(s) Is the something stupid that I'm not doing, or it just that I'm stupid? Hope you can help, Thanks
That looks like you forgot to patch the game to v1.0005. If you did patch to 1.0005 uninstall stalker (remembering to delete the stalker shadow of chernobyl folder) reinstall, patch back to 1.0005 and re-extract the TK archives but don't copy over the bin folder. For some reason in rare cases the files in the bin folder don't "take" like they should.

first,thanks for this mod! its great to have more fun on a game that had so much potential. but i have a question. when i begin the game,it begins with rain at night with that blowup thing. when i try to play the first mission,the npcs that i have to talk just dont stand up. what shoud i do?
