Additions to this version of the game include:
-Numerous bug fixes
-Closed Captioning in English, French, German, Italian, Russian, Spanish and Turkish
-Opening scene now skippable anytime throughout the scene
-Updated Stanley's monitor to include text
-Modified elevator to include arrows on the buttons
-Updated keypad in boss's office to include screen
-Converted all *.wav files to *.mp3 to significantly reduce file size

You just need the Source SDK now, you don't need Half Life 2 anymore now but only works for Windows PC(If you want play this mod at Mac you does really need the base game)
Also you can download Source SDK for free via Steam(That means you need put this mod into Steam to play it)

Nope look at the README.txt U need SDK source only
After extract,relunch steam if it is not in library,i have not download it yet,but that worked with every mod that I download on steam.Also,everything should be in readme txt.

popup that says it has a problem being encrypted when i copy over. supposed to be like that?

You need Half-Life 2, Gmod is a mod of Half-Life 2, just buy Half-Life 2 and drag thestanleyparable into your sourcemods folder
