You need to give me more than that. Take a pic of the message and send it to me and I'll fix it. The editor will not work for older saves, so make sure that you have saved in the new version at least once.

Hey, after using your editor to make some gear 100% condition I can't select sandbox mode anymore, any ideas? Already verified cache and restarted my computer.
Someone else is having the same issue, he probably didn't edit his save.

You can pm me your save and I can try to take a look if the editor messed up something.
I know the issue.
This is because you are editing with outdated save editor.
The issue is - your location in save is null.
How to fix - enter save editor and specify your location in every save you have. This have helped me to solve the problem in the past, hope it helps you.

after using the editor to spawn in any "rifle cleaning kit"[s] the sandbox mode wont bring up the saves, same seems to happen when creating black bear hide under materials.
also, created bear sleeping bags, and storm lanterns don't behave properly after being spawned.
How do they not work properly? Are you sure you are using newest verion of the editor and The Long Dark? These all work for me, so if you still have problems, you can pm me your save game and I can take a look at it.
i am using the editor found on the page the comments are being placed on.
when the bedrolls are "placed" they cannot be interacted with until you leave and re-enter the area it was placed in, the same applies to storm lanterns. the rifle cleaning kits are not regarded as tools when you are trying to clean the rifle. and i have found that spawning it anything under the materials section causes the sandbox mode to not activate.
my long dark version is the most recent. when loading the save into the editor it notifies me that the "excepted version" is 1 number lower in several popups.
i can PM you my save, but i dont konw how to do so.
Ok I was able to reproduce the problem with bedrolls. However sandbox works for me even if I add materials. You can upload your save to dropbox or somewhere and post a link and I'll take a look.

FINDarkside, Do you think in a future version that we could be able to modify the game's Field of View to something larger than what the game allows within the GUI? I know this feature is beyond the scope of a "save editor" but man it would be really useful (its not like anyone else is making tools such as yourself). On my 24" widescreen monitor I sometimes get nauseous by the very narrow fov.

It would probably be possible with UMod, but we're not currently working on it anymore. We moved to games where the devs see modding as a positive thing.

I think that the solution for broken sandbox is to refresh save game two times. Because when I refresh it for the first time, then my position region doesn't show up and was empty, but after second refresh, it was back again. Maybe the save it editor doesn't load the save correctly... O.o

I've a problem too, I can modified almost everything in a save without any trouble except one thing : player position.
When I changed my position and load my game, I'm at the right coordinates but I can't go in any shelter (with loading part), because when I'm entering I've got the loading page and at the end of loading I'm not inside the place but outside and more I'm falling out of the map.
I've tried on many different savegame, always the same.
But on a savegame "clean" it work correctly. So I think the problem is not from my game. And savegames, even modified, before changing player position was working correctly.
Someone already get this problem ? If yes how did you solve it ?

Your location is probably set to null. Enter the editor and set specific location for the player. Make sure you do it for all the saves.
I would love to continue tampering with this game but have zero knowledge on modding. Anyone can give me where to start?

I already written it, but it wasn't mean to be manual as your post, but I need to warn everyone who do this...
This is worse solution (adding another new position) - I already try it and sometimes it doesn't help, instead of just refresh save game two times before editing and saving. The best solution for this is to check if there isn't empty position in location. After refresh (before editing and saving), you should get your last position back.
Can you add the option to 'has infinite carry weight' and 'has infinite sprint' under the player tab?

My sandbox is broken to where I can't access it at all. I've used this mod before and it never had given me issues. Until several weeks ago I was using it to spawn it the crafted clothes and basic tools and other medical and nourishment necessities. When I went into the game the sandbox wouldn't do a thing. I reinstalled it three times,scanned for viruses with Malwarebytes and it caught 12 "Possibly Unwanted Programs" but none of them were involved in my disabled sandbox because I went into the game and it still was broke. I had then caved and reinstalled Steam to see if it would fix it but...what do you know?! Still broken. Please help, I haven't played in several weeks.
Check "player->region" combobox in the editor. If it's empty you need to select something and save.
